Places to Learn More

Several organizations can help the individual who would like to know more about US obsolete notes.

  • The Society of Paper Money Collectors -- This organization is the best for information about US obsolete notes. Its journal Paper Money is excellent.
  • The American Numismatic Association -- While not specifically about paper money, the ANA has an excellent reference library available by mail to its members. Cost is only reimbursement of postage and insurance.
